Effective date: April 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Neur Culture ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Guillermo Quirindongo, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you access or use the Dangerous by Design program at dbd.neurculture.com (the "Program"). By accessing the Program, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you use the Program, we may collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Display name (optional, used for the results wall)
  • Proof submissions describing what you built during the program
  • Email address, if you join our mailing list through Kit (ConvertKit)
  • Payment information processed through Stripe (we do not store card data directly)

Information collected automatically

When you access the Program, certain information is collected automatically, including:

  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • IP address and approximate geographic location
  • Pages viewed and time spent on those pages
  • Referring URLs
  • Session identifiers stored in your browser's local storage

Information from third-party platforms

If you interact with us on Instagram, X (Twitter), or TikTok, those platforms may share information with us in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control how those platforms collect or use your data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver and improve the Program experience
  • Track your progress through the five-day sprint
  • Display proof submissions on the results wall (using your display name only, never your email)
  • Send program-related emails, including daily unlock notifications and post-program follow-up
  • Respond to support requests sent to legacy@neurculture.com
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the Program
  • Comply with legal obligations

Advertising and marketing

We may use your information, including data collected through tracking technologies, to serve you relevant advertisements on platforms including but not limited to Meta (Instagram and Facebook), X (Twitter), TikTok, and Google. This includes the use of pixel tracking, conversion events, and custom audience tools provided by those platforms. You may opt out of interest-based advertising through your browser settings or through the ad preference tools provided by each platform.

If you have provided your email address, we may upload it to advertising platforms as part of a custom audience to show you relevant content. We do not sell your email address to third parties.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Program uses browser local storage to maintain your session, track which days you have completed, and remember your weapon selection. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

We may use third-party analytics and advertising tools that place cookies or similar tracking technologies on your device, including:

  • Meta Pixel, for conversion tracking and retargeting on Instagram and Facebook
  • TikTok Pixel, for conversion tracking and retargeting on TikTok
  • Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, for usage analytics
  • X Pixel, for conversion tracking on X

You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect Program functionality.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Program:

  • Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled. We receive confirmation of payment but do not store card numbers.
  • Kit (ConvertKit): Email marketing and automation. If you join our mailing list, your email address is stored with Kit. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • Vercel: Hosting and deployment. Your IP address and request data may be processed by Vercel's infrastructure.
  • OpenAI (Vero): The Program directs you to interact with a custom GPT ("Vero") built on OpenAI's platform. Any content you enter into that tool is subject to OpenAI's privacy policy. We do not receive or store those conversations.

5. Data Retention

Program progress data is stored in your browser's local storage and remains on your device until you clear it. We retain email addresses in Kit until you unsubscribe. Proof submissions displayed on the results wall may be retained for the duration of the Program cohort. Payment records are retained as required by applicable law.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Program, under confidentiality obligations
  • Advertising platforms, in the form of hashed email addresses or pixel events, solely for the purpose of showing you relevant content
  • Law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by law or to protect our rights

7. Your Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to opt out of the sale of your data. We do not sell personal information.

8. Children's Privacy

The Program is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at legacy@neurculture.com and we will delete it promptly.
